Ask a specialistWhat does Altivo Jets do?+
Altivo Jets is a charter broker. You tell us the trip, we check which licensed operators have a suitable aircraft, and we send you options with the operator named and the full price. The operator flies the aircraft; we arrange and manage the booking.
How much does a private jet cost?+
You pay for the whole aircraft by the flight hour. A light jet typically charters for ₹2.5L to ₹3.5L an hour in India and $5.5k to $9.8k an hour in the United States; a heavy jet for ₹7L to ₹10L or $15.1k to $18.5k. Positioning, crew overnights, airport charges and taxes are added for the exact trip.
Why are there separate India and US sites?+
Charter rules, operators, taxes and currencies differ. The India site shows DGCA-licensed operators, prices in rupees and GST; the US site shows FAA Part 135 operators, prices in dollars and federal excise tax. Each site lists only that country's aircraft and operators.
Who actually flies me?+
A licensed operator: the holder of a DGCA Non-Scheduled Operator Permit in India, or an FAA Part 135 or Part 121 air carrier in the United States. The operator's name is on your quote and your charter agreement.
How quickly can I fly?+
Most charters can be arranged within 24 hours. Peak holidays, festivals and big events need a week or more, and helicopter flights in the hills depend on daylight and weather.
What is an empty leg?+
An aircraft flying empty to its next job, sold at a discount on that route and date. Empty legs suit flexible travellers; the operator can move or cancel them if the original trip changes.

A specialist replies around the clock with aircraft options, the operator's name and an all-in price.
